Loretta Warren - R.N.,B.S.N.

Growing up in rural Northeastern Colorado, Loretta’s first healing “assignment” was to care for sick and injured animals. This was the precursor to her career in nursing. Loretta believes the true art of nursing is holistic in approach.

Loretta A. Carlson - Warren was graduated Summa Cum Laude from Metropolitan State College in Denver with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1976. She also holds a diploma in Nursing from the Swedish Hospital School of Nursing, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Much of her work has centered around wellness issues: facilitating the healing process of spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional systems.

Although most of Loretta’s experience is in Behavioral Health, her counseling has always been holistic in approach, drawing the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual together.

Holistic healing must be the total sum of these to be effective. Professionally, Loretta has a wide range of experience in nursing, counseling and therapy, administration and communication. Loretta is committed to health and healing and works to promote the integrity of the therapeutic relationship. She has been honored with elections to both Who’s Who in American Women and Who’s Who in American Nursing.

Recently Loretta has been pursuing another passion, photography. A current project is a series of photographs of hands, working, healing, resting: hands are a direct conduit to the spirit and the spiritual. Holistic Healing is Loretta’s passion.
